Who we are
Astrinix LLC (“Astrinix”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We process personal data in line with the QFC Data Protection Regulations 2021 and the QFC Data Protection Rules 2021.

What this site does not do
- It sets no cookies.
- It runs no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or session-recording tools.
- It loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embedded content. Everything is served from astrinix.com.
- It has no user accounts and no logins.
What we collect
When you contact us
The contact form does not send anything to our servers. When you press Send, it opens your own email app with a pre-filled message addressed to contact@astrinix.com. Nothing reaches us until you send that email yourself.
From that email, or any email you write to us directly, we receive your name, company, email address, the type of organisation you selected, your message, and anything else you choose to include, such as a CV if you write to us about a role.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs each time a page is requested. A log entry contains your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and device type. These logs keep the site running and secure.
On your device
The site saves one setting in your browser’s local storage: which side of the site you chose, Systems or Studio, so it opens the same way next time. The setting contains no personal data, is never sent to us, and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.

We do not sell personal data. We do not add you to marketing lists. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run our business, and only as far as each one needs it:
- Google, through Google Workspace, which hosts our email.
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and keeps its server logs.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality, where we need their advice.
- Authorities and regulators, where the law requires us to disclose information.
Transfers outside the QFC
Our service providers may process personal data outside the Qatar Financial Centre, including in the European Union and the United States. Where data goes to a jurisdiction that is not recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, we rely on the safeguards permitted by the QFC Data Protection Regulations, such as the data protection terms in our contracts with those providers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last exchange. If an engagement follows, for the length of the engagement and any period the law requires afterwards.
- Server logs: for the limited period set by our hosting provider’s log retention.
Your rights
Under the QFC Data Protection Regulations you can ask us to:
- tell you whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- erase your data;
- restrict how we use your data;
- stop using your data where we rely on our legitimate interests;
- give you your data in a portable format.
You also have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. To use any of these rights, email contact@astrinix.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will respond without undue delay and within the time limits set by the Regulations.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the QFC Data Protection Office.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Our mailbox is protected by Google Workspace security controls, and only people at Astrinix who need an email to do their work can read it.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the way we handle personal data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
